So i was reading Rigg's LJ and he said that "girls have that ability to make dudes go from feeling on top of the world to feeling like pieces of shit in 2 seconds by muttering a couple simple words.. for some reason guys dont have that ability."
We all have the ability do that to people. When you really think about it, it's rather sad how much control other people have over our own feelings. Most of us claim to be individuals that dont care what other people think, but then look at our LJ's. They're usually whining about someone making us feel like shit. It's sad how we keep subjecting ourself to the same pain over and over again. Even if we know someone's just going to hurt us, we keep them in our lives, hoping that for once, they'll actually cause us some happiness. Then you have to wonder if the happiness truly outweighs the pain. Usually it doesnt.
I've noticed that most of us embrace those people who make us miserable and push aside the people who truly care because we know they're always going to be there. Shouldnt it be the opposite?
Truthfully, i'm sick of embracing all the wrong people, the ones that constantly make me question how they feel about me, that just plain drive me nuts. I also wish my friends would stop subjecting them to getting hurt. I'll be there for them no matter what, but i hate seeing them hurting.
On a side note that really contradicts what i just said..I dont know if i should keep seeing him this much. It's just making me more attached and i dont know if anything will ever happen.
