Wallpaper and a tutorial. Aren't you lucky? Oh, and brushes as well. Is it me, or is anyone else getting fucking annoyed at how dART hasn't fixed their gallery problem yet? It's been like, 15 weeks since anything was last posted about it AND I AM SICK OF MY GALLERY NOT UPDATING TO SHOW EVERYTHING. God. It's the new ugly style they put up. I swear. /end rant

It's 1024x768, but it should fit in other resolutions.

I was kinda vague on the tutorial because I want you guys to get those creative juices flowing, rather than just copycopycopy as I see so much of these days. HAVE FUN WITH THOSE 100 BY 100 PIXELS, BABY!

Crop your base, clean it up (sharpen, smooth anything that needs smoothing) then duplicate it as many times as needed (I used a semi-dark cap so it took three tries).

ex.

Play around with the brightness/contrast until it's satisfying to you, then add an exclusion layer at 40% (I used #135384).

ex.

After that, add a color burn layer at 100% (I used #c8c8c8), then add another color burn layer at 100% (#77d5c9 was my choice). You oughta have something like this so far:

ex.

I added a final soft light layer, smoothed up the skin a little and voila. Here is what my layers panel looked like after I was finished:

Enjoy? Let me know =)
