Okay, so I probably shouldn't blame Pezinator for this. Or Pezcado. Or even Prez for finally caving in. Because in all honesty, despite the fact that my life has very little to be of online interest, it really didn't take all that much pressuring from 'nator to say, "Hey, livejournal, that looks like fun...just so I can procrastinate on Exeter stuff MORE than I'm already doing...and write...yeah, that writing thing. That I'm also doing. Honestly."
So here I am with a not-terrifically-original but very alliterative member title (smile!) and some space to fill up when I really should be doing something else. Like finishing up a report for work. Or buying books for Exeter. Or going to get a phone card. Or maybe killing one of the oh-so-prevalent scorpions that keep waltzing around our house and turning up in weird places. I mean, how many scorpions really need to learn recipe maintenance enough to turn up in our cookbook? Twice? What is this, a scorpion dinner party for those back to school little brown poisionous things (because of course we get the really nasty tiny kind, not just the mostly I want to kill you variety) that I keep finding trying to crawl up the sides of my bathtub? Honestly. One thing I will NOT miss at all when I leave for school.
All right, so I didn't really mean to start off my livejournaling experience with a rant about scorpions, but there ya go. Other than that, not much to post. I think I'm officially being shunned by everyone out here because I'm still at home when the rest of the world is either working or going to school. But I'm packing, which makes me feel better. Even if I do have to stuff everything I could possibly need for the next year into two United-certified and weight-limited bags and figure out how to sneak on my not so regulation backpack and...um...purse...thing and fit it under the seat in front of me.
I also managed to work some on an actual writing piece that I've been ripping apart all summer, though that doesn't mean I won't burst into tears the first time I get criticized by someone with an accent. Sigh. At least they're letting me into a writing class.
Okay, now I'm leaving since I've officially started to ramble...thanks to anyone who's bearing wtih me through my rusty start!
