He's a shitty business colleague. He missed the first meeting. He was fifteen minutes late to the last meeting. And today's meeting, he didn't call in...I had to call him, and he was brushing his teeth. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I let him know how unprofessional and seemingly unserious he is in this role. And he didn't respond. I asked him if he was upset and he said no but he didn't want to say anything yet. Then he said he would call me back, and he never did.
I'm pissed because I could've booked my massage for this morning, but I had it blocked for our meeting. I'm pissed because after an hour, I called him again to see what was going on and he didn't answer. I left a voicemail. He texted me that he was in a meeting now with his boss. He never called me back. He never texted, he never emailed.
I feel quite positive he is blurring the lines. This is not personal to me. This is business. Why would he treat our meeting like it was just the homies chatting? Also, is he so much of a brat that when he got called out, he couldn't communicate? All he had to say - all he NEEDED to say was "I apologize for being late. I apologize I was unprepared." But he's acting like this is some play shit and he's doing me a favor. I am shocked, but I don't know that I should be. If he was dismissive as a love interest, why wouldn't I believe that's his whole personality as it relates to anything? I guess cause I really believed he felt honored to have this leadership role. I believed in him. Again. What a joke.
