My mentor says I should be studying eight hours a day. I study eight hours a week. Am I the worst law student or the smartest? My peers are studying more and I'm just above the average grade in our hardest class. I feel confident that I will do well on finals. Meanwhile, my mentor thinks it's a bad idea to go out of town for Thanksgiving because finals are the Monday after. I told her I will study on the plane. She doesn't believe me. Not sure why. I study on the train; what's the difference? There's wayyyy more downtime in traveling via plane, i.e. waiting in the airport, waiting for the plane to take off, the actual flight. It's perfect for studying. I'm good. And the entire Thanksgiving week will be alll studying except Wednesday and half of Thursday. I'll be back home on Friday to study and my first final is Monday but the others are five and six days apart. I trust myself. I'm actually excited to study and more excited for the semester to end.
