As the World turns
its interesting what curve balls the world throws you. On the way home from regional fight practice I was brainstorming with Iain on how to get to coronation. Iain stopped and ask a simple question - why is it so important to you to go to it? This made me pause, because the answer was - its my knight's coronation. This made both of us stop and realize how different things have turned out. Iain was suppose to get the knight and I maybe be the pelican. 6 months ago I would not even considered traveling 7 hours by car to an event - coronation or not(unless it was Pennsic). Now I am racking my brain to figure out how to do it and have the kids be alive at the end. Good but strange when I sit and think about how I envisioned my life. Interesting how priorities shift.
