After sitting on the tarmack @ DFW for nearly 4 hours, being told every so often that "it should ony be another 15 to 20 minutes" we finally got de iced (that took a half hour) and launched into the sky.
I have to say, that it was the longest 8 hours of my life. It honestly felt like so much more. I slept some, but my butt was numb. I was uncomfortable. When we finally landed, I had of course missed my connecting flight.
While waiting in line, I was approached by a blonde a little older than me. Turns out that this is Margeaux. She is to be my roommate at the retreat... we were on the same flight. We're now sharing a room in Honolulu. And we're getting along well. Talk about kismet.
She isn't a massage therapist, But she is a healer and she is from atlanta. I think this is going to be a good thing. For now, though... sleep calls.
