Superbowl ad.. Go Daddy.com in bad taste

Feb 07, 2010 19:07

It doesn't matter if it was Woman/woman or Woman/man. It just perpetuated the stereo type of Massage Therapists/masseuses as Sex Workers. *slaps forehead* I'm irritated. I realise that a lot of people will be tittilated by it, but dude... BAD TASTE.

Same here. Their commercials irritate me in general, but that one hit an obviously personal note.

My first reaction was, "inappropriate!, ask her - if you absolutely must, AFTERWARDS - but don't interrupt the massage!" and it took about 5 seconds for me to realize that was beyond pointless anyways.

*shakes head*

I now groan whenever I see GoDaddy or Danica Patrick on TV.

I saw this post before I saw the commercial in question, and I have to say that sex wasn't what popped into my head. I mean, beyond the horrible GoDaddy tittilation. When she said, "How about after THIS?" I thought, "After what? Showing me your t-shirt?" I guess I'm still pretty innocent. I dunno.

I truly hope, however, that the focus of the viewers' ire is not a GoDaddy ad, but is in fact because of the despicable Focus on the Family antichoice ad that the hypocrites from CBS dared air!

I didn't see the pro life one. I waited for it. Apparently it was shown before I tuned my tv towards the game. Had I watched that yeah id have been piseed about it too.

As it was, as a massage professional, the other aggrivated me too. The other woul have ENRAGED me.
