History

The media feeding frenzy in Grant Park has begun:

This was taken earlier today by my co-worker who went to check out the site of the rally
It's only a block south and like 2 blocks east of the building where I work o.O

Needless to say, I won't be going home after work. I'm grabbing dinner w/ piccolouno and then we'll head over to the rally site and stake out our spots for the evening.
Holy Hell. I am literally shaking. This is unreal. I cannot WAIT to be a part of this :)

For months I've been compiling this eloquently crass execution of all my collective thoughts on this election in my head, but I never bothered to put down on paper. Ironically, as I try to find words that adequately expound my position on various elements, and just my thoughts in general, they seem to have escaped the grasp that I held them under for so long. I'm overwhelmed in this series of moments and I'm just trying to remain in each one for what it is. Maybe my evasive words will find their way back to me and I will attempt to reconstruct my thoughts in a relatively coherent fashion. Right now, my brain is applesauce - no clue how I'm going to get any work done tomorrow.

In any event, if Obama wins, "History" by  Skyzoo should TOTALLY be his victory song:
