The shield was magic!
Arthur was telling the truth!
Not that I doubted him. I mean I did doubt him a bit since the only witness died...but I didn't mean it in a dishonoring way. It was just so hard to believe. I can imagine King Uther feels terrible about not believing his son.
Morgana was upset this morning before the fight. She didn't want Arthur to fight. I think she was actually worried about him. As much as she hates to admit it to anyone she does care for Arthur in some way.
The fight was amazing. The snakes came out of the shield and everyone saw them. Morgana took Uther's sword and gave it to Arthur (since he'd lost his). Apparently at the feast he wouldn't admit Morgana had helped him or 'saved him' as she puts it so she's cross at him again. I'm pretty sure I heard her say something about rather going to the feast with Valiant just to bother Arthur.
