A walking WTF
I don't know what to say about our upstairs neighbor. He is a walking WTF. His loud TV and music continues. Some songs being played over and over again. (Most recently, it's been Michael Jackson's "Black or White" and "Thriller".)This goes into the night and frequently in the day.
We also notice he goes for days, maybe weeks letting his mail pile up.
But wait! There's more! A couple days ago, we (Stephen & I) find out that our gas has been shut off. Found out our neighbor is responsible for the gas bill. He had not paid it. Some back & forth by phone with our landlord goes on. He manages to get money to the gas company. For most of the day today Stephen abnd I had expected someone to come to turn our gas back on. Didn't happen. We learn since it's our neighbor's name ob the bill, he has to call and get a guy over here.
Stephen and I take this up with neighbor, in person. Neighbor answers the door in just a t-shirt and tighty whitey underwear. (Not an attractive sight) It was also quite obvious the man was drunk as a skunk. What we were telling him seemed to barely register with him.
Some more back & forth by phone with Stephen, landlord and neighbor happen. There is now a person coming to turn our gas on tomorrow between noon and 4pm. I really hope so. I'm about ready to call a close friend to ask if I could use their shower. Especially since tomorrow evening I'm going to be out amongst other people at what I think will be a nice little shindig.
Anyway, his drunkness possible explains a lot in regards to the behavior I explained above. This is getting rather pathetic though.
Update: As of today, Aug.27 @ 3:20pm, our gas has been turned back on. Mesaage to our neighbor - Don't fuck this up again!
