So, I decided to do my own little listy poo
Since I mucked up my shoulder at work and can't sleep or play my guitar comfortably, I decided to join the ranks of the list makers.
albums I'm uber glad I bought/acquired that came out this year:
-Castanets: Cathedral
-Bobby Bare Jr's young Criminal Starvation League: From the end of your leash
-Piebald: All eyes, all ears, all the time
-Smothered/Covered: the Late Great Daniel Johnston ( A tribute album to a still living singer/songwriter that does what most tribute albums should: it includes a second disc of the original songs)
-Tom Waits: Real Gone
-Old Crow Medicine Show: OCMS
-Rilo Kiley: More Adventurous
-Wilco: A Ghost is Born
-The Arcade Fire: Funeral
-Guster: Live on Ice, from Portland ME.
I now feel kind of lame for doing this. And I know there are others that I'm neglecting and also otherss that I bought this year, but came out a while ago.
On a different note, I'll be in Maine from the 4th til the 10th of January. I WANT TO SEE ALL YOU BITCHES! I needs me some Shipyards.
