I love music. I think that kind of goes without saying (if you know me). I always have, and as a result of this, I have amassed quite a large and eclectic CD collection. One which would be ridiculous to drag all the way to Louisville. So, tonight I have begun "The Great Copy" (a working title until I come up with something better. Suggestions appreciated). I'm going to copy as many of my CD's onto the hard drive of my computer as I can before I leave. It's kind of... comforting. To know that I won't have to haul this load to Kentucky, yet, if I year to hear Rasputina cover "brand New Key" at 3am on a chilly January night, I'll be able to find it right on my computer.
It's also allowing me to plan out more things on my calendar, like work schedule and travel schedule and all that. So now I know when I'll be elsewhere in this great country of ours* in the coming days and months. I've had a very comforting night. A place for everything and everything in it's place. It's been a long ass time since I've been this organized and it's nice to be able to not worry about exact dates and just kind of ride along as the days approach.
Wait, since when am I this organized? Wild.
Notice: My usual wednesday trip to the dump will not be occurring as regularly scheduled. Instead it will happen tomorrow around noon-ish. I apologize for any inconvenience.
