Sweet Release
He didn’t know why it worked this way.
Maybe it had to do with the giving it over, surrendering control.
As he stood shackled to the wall waiting for the next lash to strike his flesh he realized that even though he didn’t understand the why, it was exactly what he needed every time.
Perhaps it wouldn’t be so right if it weren’t his brother wielding the flogger, knowing how to push him to his limits and beyond.
Every time he entered this space, he was purged of the self hate and the guilt that could threaten to overwhelm him.
