How far can a fangirl fall in 7 short months???

Dec 29, 2008 13:51

I was reading through a fic that I read earlier this year and noticed the string of comments between myself and the author. This is so funny. It was about a month after I posted my very first, fairly schmoopy fic.

This is a scream because it was a very kinky fic. I had been almost speechless. The part that I think is funny is at the end.

More silly musings under the cut... )

musings, rl

That so made me laugh, it really did, especially after reading the candy cane fic!!

I think you're right though - it's those naughty boys fault!! They are a bad influence.

I can see it happening to me too, although to a lesser extent - you're way ahead of me on the wallchart of naughtiness.

Ooh, I get a wall chart and everything? Cool.

Maybe I'll use this icon with the pointer, because everyone knows you need a pointer with a wall chart. And, of course, I've been so naughty, maybe I do need a spanking.

It is their fault. I swear I was an innocent young woman not too long ago.

In fact, in the very first Hello Kitty I ever wrote, someone who had been on my f-list for six months sent me a comment that said something like:

And, I thought you were a nice girl. Where did that come from?

And, you know what? I had no answer. In retrospect, I should have blamed Dean and Sam right then.

I see it happening to you as well, but definitely more slowly. It isn't like you got to the edge of a cliff and jumped like it feels that I did. LOL

You know when you dance around a May Pole and you wrap and wind the ribbon all around yourself, then twirl yourself free of the ribbon as you spin?

That's you and me and everyone that starts out with their tentative first fics.

The ribbon is your inhibitions and as you twirl you set them free.

It's just taken you seven months to unwind the ribbon, thats all.

The person that said where did that come from? is no different to me or you, they're just not dancing.

I love your turn of phrase. I was actually tempted to count the words in your comment to see if it was 100 on the nose. LOL

You say more to me in a 100 words than a lot of people say to me in volumes.

Must be why I love you so much. ♥

And, yeah...I don't think she's dancing. Very astute observation.

Hehe, your Hello Kitty fics are the kinkiest things I've ever read. You taught me kinks I didn't even know existed!

Sam and Dean do kinda ask for it though don't they? *g*

Thank you sweetheart. I will take that as a huge compliment.

Honey, I don't even know some of that stuff exists till I get started. And right now I have the basic ideas for the next two installments. I just can't decide which to write first.

They may make your toes curl. Stay tuned.

Oh, and yes they definitely do ask for it. I think it must be why my hubby really does not like the show. I think he can see the wheels spinning in my head every second those two are on screen. I think he might be just a little jealous.

btw-I love your icon.

Tis a compliment! Kinky fics are awesome.

And lol, I don't like watching SPN with people around as I think they'll notice my...reaction. I think I even blush sometimes! (I'm a closet slasher, lol.)

And thanks about the icon! Your the second person who's said that today :o) Tis by nyaubaby.

Which reaction is that? Where you have your skirt up around your waist and your hand in your panties? LOL

I SWEAR I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT MYSELF and I HAVE NEVER LOOKED IN YOUR WINDOW.

I promise.

It's amazing what we can discover about ourselves thru fanfic. I remember reading a threesome years (and years) ago (god, it was so long it was a paper zine LOL) and being turned off, and the next thing it seems, I was writing 'em online. It takes the right pairing to do it, and once you're hooked, you're hooked.

You are so funny. Being turned off? Was it m/f/f, or m/m/f or all same sex threesome?

I know what you mean about the right pairing. You probably are sick of me e-mailing you my silly plot bunnies and asking what you'd think about this one or that one?

And, then you started writing threesomes!!! And then you even wrote a threesome where one of the characters is an angel!!! (I haven't seen it yet, but I know you did/will)

I know what I have found out about myself is that in every story that I write, I personally identify with the bottom. Every time. And every top that I write, is exactly how I would want my perfect fantasy partner to be and treat me.

Sorry if that is TMI, but it's true.

It was an M/M/M, I just couldn't get into it, but a few years later I became infamous for my Ares/Hercules/Iolaus stuff (and even my foursomes when I thru Iphicles into the mix LOL). When I write, I try to identify with both ends of it, as top and bottom. I will read thru a sex scene a few times, looking at both POV's. And I was reading M/M/F for ages, I always liked that for some reason. And the Deam/Sam/Castiel is coming soon, I have to have the right scene/moment to lead into it.

Oh, when I write I always read through numerous times. It's just that there is always the one side that feels more natural to me. It doesn't mean that I don't appreciate both parts, because I really do.

I am very partial to M/M/F also. Seems that somehow I always feel like the Mary Sue when I am reading those. LOL

Can't wait for more Angel fic.

*laughing* It's amazing what journaling/fic-reading will do to a person, y/n? ;)

Yes. It is amazing. I had no idea. I'd never even heard of LJ until Sep 07. What an interesting trip this has been.

Oh, and I'd never heard of m/m slash until then either. But what an eye opener that was.
