SGA - I am always so late to the party
I have been reading and writing comment porn at phantisma's this month. Her month of comment porn is a multi-fandom extravaganza. What I realized is that other than SPN I don't really watch much TV. I had nooooooooooo idea who half of the characters were in the prompts. I had never seen an episode of SGA and had no idea who Sheppard and Ronon are. I am so lame.
Tonight I was flipping channels just as SGA was starting. It was an episode called Reunion and was a heavy Ronon Dex episode. Holy cow. Someone tell me why I haven't been watching this show.
Then I googled and found something interesting. The guys who play Ronon and Sheppard are roommates like Jared and Jensen from SPN are roommates.
I'm not implying anything. I'm just saying how nice it is when 2 guys can be best friends, share housing, and not be afraid to show affection to each other. That's all.
Then I found a pic of Momoa and Flanigan in their personal time. They play Dex and Sheppard.
Momoa is bigger than Flanigan like Padalecki is bigger than Ackles.
They have similar body language. Photos below for comparison.
EDIT: Here is a link to an interview with Jason Mamoa from Aug 11, 2008. He may be discussing living arrangements during the filming of the season. I believe that both Jason and Joe have families.

CinemaSpy: Are we going to see more conflict between you and Sheppard?
Jason Momoa: No. Not too much more. In “Broken Ties” there is a little conflict, obviously, because I got to the dark side. It’s funny, because I wanted to put in a scene in where I punch Joe [Flanigan] in the face, and I asked him - because I live with Joe - “Is it all right if I punch you in the face, bud?” He’s like, “Oh, yeah.” I was like, “C’mon, bud, this will be good.” So we put it in and I just look at him and - POP! - hit him in the face and he goes down. It’s a cool banter we have. In real life, he’s my best friend, he’s someone who you have arguments and you’ll have disagreements and stuff, but ultimately I just respect him as a warrior.
And since I was editing the post anyway, let me add this too. Did I mention the guy has a great voice too? Because he really does.
