It's weird. I'm always like, okay, I need to update before even more people yell at me, but then again, I feel like whatever I write in here, people are gonna be judging me by what I write. Whether it be about school, friends, etc. Or it could just be written about the course of the day, but who really cares? These journals are just someones weird way of peering into peoples lives.
Nicole: Why is it that pizza is pizza, but no matter where you go, it never tastes the same? What is the meaning of life, for pizza?
Like okay, there isn't much to talk about, but are people comming to look at these as their way of getting the gossip for the next day? Or is it their way of enjoyment during the evening hours because they aren't sure of how else to occupy their time?
Santana: The Latin people are like a rainbow, full of colors.
Like seriously though. People go to one journal for maybe the gossip of the day, others are looked at for some content to give them a vindicated life. Some even to just have a good laugh.
"If a highly acclaimed action film star can become governer of one of the largest states and do a pretty good job, you would think that a monkey could win the "war on terror" and that a botox injected kennedy wannabe would be able to win the election." Anonymous
Is it just me, or does it seem like this whole flu dilemma would be like, prime agent for some random group that wants to get back at the US? They have millions of people that can't get the shot, the millions that can get it (not meaning to sound harsh, only concerning the elderly, not young adults with diseases), chances are they're going to be dying within the next 10 years anyway. All these terrorists would have to do is just, infect even just a supermarket with some flu strains, and would could have whole towns in disarray. This morning on channel 10, they were talking about how with this shortage, and the fact that hospitals here don't have the physical capacity for a flu outbreak this winter, I really wouldn't be suprised if there's some group some where, having watched the same show thinking this.
See, then there are the people who talk about how the world is gonna end, etc. Or how much their life sucks. Granted, some people have it bad, but there's always someone worse off then you are. Why do you think people like Christpher Reeves (RIP) was out crusading for stem cell research? Not because he was sitting there, feeling sorry for himself, but because he didn't want other people to have to go through this, because he knew it was possible to reach an era where spinal accident victims could be saved.
I'm really going off on tangents here I think, but who knows. I'm just writing and since it's just sorta getting everything out, why not? Everyone else does it anyway.
Right now, there's a new documentary on "Latino's: The Largest Minority Group in America". The aim of the show is describing their situation, then they go to the presidental candidates and showing which each one wants to do. It's like a show saying who should be chosen president because whoever wins the minority group, chances are they'll win the election.
"If they're going to reinstate the draft, chances are it will happen within the next year, granted Bush stays in office, and doesn't pull troops out of Iraq." Some guy on C-SPAN
I think i'm gonna stop now, just because I keep getting distracted. But yeah. Ahh. There is nothing better, then a kerry or bush campaign ad, where they're speaking spanish.
If Bush is really trying to reach the minority vote, then why put stricter rules on immigration? That's basically saying, yes I want your vote, but as long as you don't live in my country.
