(no subject)
we just started rehearsals on wednesday and after only 5 minutes of act 1, scene 1 mr long directs me to kiss james...we avoided it and skipped around it...but im a wee bit grossed out by it to be completely honest.
friday night he asked us if we'd be comfortable kissing at this point and i immediately chimed in that it would be fine, but id like to give it a week or so just because i dont know him well enough yet. he was slightly hurt by that because he was eagerly nodding his head! lol
the rehearsal for westonarts went really well and i fell in love with the von trapp children! lol they are just toooo cute! i became their favorite usher because i played with them and they adored me as much as i adored them! 3 of the little girls even got my numbers for babysitting....
then arianna, shari and me went to the diner after ari's rehearsal ended at 10. it was nice just have the 3 of us there to actually carryout a lovely conversation. then we bumped into emma wiseman and mark costello!!!! yay! they joined us and i love them and it was sooo much fun!
last night's went really well. and it was GREAT to see my college freshmen who i will always call my "juniors" and remember them as Ginger Rogers and Eddie Cantor and the guy who sang "Alexander's Ragtime Band." o gee. Melody...
anyways! so it was kindda comforting just knowing that they were there even tho i didnt really talk to them at the school. i cant explain it, but i just felt like everything was the way it was supposed to be with them home (except i really want my er-bear and liz bak!).
then we all went out to the diner as a giant group of like 30! we took up 4 tables! it was sooo great! Jon drove me there, so we had a chance to catch up and he informed that im still in love with chris and always will be? which i find a little creepy... lol it was so great to just hang out with these crazy kids who i love so much!
we got a call from emma, chris and mark saying they were on their way as we were heading out the door and all the other tables were gone. so, we hung out rite outside waiting to say "hi" to them wen they came in. we (being shari, carolyn, falber, blau, ryan, and deger) chatted with emma, chris and mark for like half and hour or so about college, chris' wisdom teeth, midsummer and the like. it really was nice just to see them again.
on our way to sharis car carolyn, shar and myself were nearly run over by sihdu and then proceeded to watch stephen shipman talk to oren on his car keys. we chatted with kevin thomas, michael roberts (who im madly in love with, by the way!), and a few others until i yelled at them to go inside so i could go home and sleep! i was exhausted...
now i gotta go alter serve 11:00 mass...joy...
