I know what you are going through Salem and I just thought that maybe this would help. I wrote this a long time ago and I've posted it here before but I thought that I would just post it again.
Love Essay...
Love is hard. That's just it, it is. As teenagers we are on this conquest, this search to find out who we really are. As we are tangled up in this hurried journey to self-discovery we also go through tough times. Love, if anyone could define it , it would be someone's first love. Because in all honesty, thats when you know what love really is. It could be every great moment in life this person could have. It could be just how this one person looks at you, unless you are living in the moment you can't really say that you know. If anyone could define "heartbreak" it would be someone's first heartbreak, you realize what you are without this one person. None of us except maybe a few expect to find our love for the rest of our life in high school, but this in a way is just to discover ourselves. I believe, I truly do when you are in love you find yourself, you find your true colors, you find you. In this road to self-discovery we find that not only the majority of your life spend finding someone you can live the rest of your life with, its also spent living life. Some of us try to avoid this vulnerability that you experience when you are in love. But that is a part of life, why avoid life? Why are some people afraid of who they really are? Love knows no boundaries. Putting yourself out there risking the chance of getting hurt, is one of the bravest acts of life. Afterall, this is a road to self-discovery. A road worth traveling. Life with love is hard, but a life without life is harder.
