the thing about holidays
working through this unexpected though temporary wave of unreasonable depression,
things are great, i guess. busy and tired from school and work. erik and i never practice, and i take years to write songs, but i am still passively hoping that one if not two surfin serf seven inches comes out later this year. i'm getting better at chess - i beat the computer for the first time, that's a big deal to me. i don't know how i feel about music or drinking or partying and bullshit or going to europe for a little bit or, you know, any of this. at this point, "pretty reserved" is how i'd call it. i'll be grateful for when i can look back on this time and remember not so much of all the sshhiiittty ffffeelliiinggss but how i have rrrreeeeaaaaalll fffrrriiieeenssss who care about me and are glad that i'm alive &c.
