Dance to Sanity, my life

DANCE TO SANITY
Don't believe a story that you have never heard
I'm the blemish in society that distracts your every word
In a pool of regret, I sit and bleed to death
I fall into a hole of madness
My screams, they sound like breath
Notice me from your perfect, haunting world
Invite me in, then erase my pain
I fright, disgust but love a betraying salvation with nothing to gain
Alone I'll sit, blinded by crimson tears
A colour so enchanting it crushes all that is feared
In disguise with buried features is all they can see
Four roses across my darkened face as I'm lowered to that secret place
I fall, I tumble but get up to dance to sanity
Its song is so beautiful, with a silent rhythm
Lacking only the pureness of my vanity
If you believe nothing else, believe in me, my story, my song
Even if it's not what one can see.
