Hot and Humid Saturday in Goleta

It's been a fun day, so far. I spent the morning teaching a printmaking class to 5 very eager and fun loving people. This is the teaching I love to do.

Picked Chris up from MAC (he's going to take poetry with Perie and Music Appreciation with Duff because Lana wouldn't let him just take one class. It's a good compromise that costs half what full MAC would cost so I am happy.) and dropped him off before heading out to Wilma's to help stuff survey envelopes for the Search Committee. Got that done quickly and I've been home since 2:30 printing pictures off the computer and organizing the studio so I can go into production on a series of books I will try to sell next weekend at the Book and Author's Fair.

Talked to Owen about kitchen stuff he needs - I'll put together a care package and send it on Monday.

Chris off to hang out with Amp and I think Chris Alemdar (sp?) is visiting so they will get together this evening. Someone came by just now to see the truck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Owen still owes me $200 - please send a check. I picked up his Starbucks check and deposited it in his checking account. After taxes etc. it came to $205. Does that sound right? I mentioned the recruitment fee and they said they'd add it on as well as tips. Sean was there when I picked it up and the girl at the counter (not a regular employee there) gave me a discount on the gum I bought.

I think the truck just sold to a guy called Matt whose Mom was born in Penticton, B.C. Small world. Yahoo!

So. Gotta go make a few books.
