Yay Christmas
Another year gone by so another year I wish you all Merry Christmas (or Happy Hannukah!) and a Happy New Year to everyone!! I hope you all behaved well and got a lot of presents from Santa (and if not… I hope at least you enjoyed your naughty times while they lasted!).
Onto other things, related to FFXI, we did our second Proto-Ultima (we do 2x of each Limbus “Boss”, to give a nice share for melee and mages). Was pretty funny because I opened the chest, and was able to get a pair of these for Nep. Grats!! :3 So far looks like there’s nobody else to lot next pair aside from me, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed so they drop next time.
Right after Limbus we were supposed to do some JoLs, but there was an LS already doing theirs. Then someone mentioned Vrtra so we all somehow tagged along!
As I mention above, I was BLM for Iruci/Airi/Pey pops. This is the second time I do this fight like this, and I must admit it’s pretty laid back compared to the “real fight” happening in main alliance. Granted they wouldn’t be able to kill without our help, I’d like to get title someday!
I forgot to mention it earlier, but Vrtra was straight-tanked. We tried kiting it, but at 98% we gave up.
This is such a fun fight, I’m not sure if I have the nerve to do it on WHM (Tiri was our only WHM, though when she died Nep took over until death, he’s so brave!) but it would sure be fun to try, and I’m not too scared about Vrtra itself.
I can’t wait to repeat it. Sadly, our crafter blew a Cashmere thread up, so no manteel for me! (I’m talking out of my ass, I doubt I’d be next for one)
