More than a week later
I'm really sorry, dears, for not posting as often as I said I would, but school has been taking all my time...
I'll try to remember everything that happened daily, and I'm sorry if I miss something...
Thursday, 11th
I tried out for the Basketball team, but I didn't make it... Instead I joined the team as manager, so that I don't have to do PE and I'm still doing something Basketball related. Not much happening.
Friday, 12th
I almost bumped against Alper, which was funny, and he was eating, as in the previous day, so our conversation was really short and was basically like this:
Alper: Hi!
Me: Hey!
Alper, trying to swallow whatever he was eating: You always catch me with food my mouth full
Me: You have to agree I have a great timing
Alper smiles, me melts.
Saturday and Sunday, 13th and 14th
I spent most of the weekend at home, just studying, taking notes, doing homework... Really boring, actually.
Though Krystal and Nichole came to pick me up (I think that on Saturday) to just hang out. We went around the city, in Krystal's car, and they had ice-cream for me when I got to the car. And then we went to "our park" (in the rich part of the city, but we always go there), just to hang out. It was so damn fun ^^ I love to hang out with them.
Monday, 15th
The Basketball team was going to do weight lifts, and guess who was there too... Alper. So, yeah, I sat there and watched him work out all class long. It was like torture, but the kind of torture I like =P
Tuesday, 16th
I went to the weight lift room before practice, just to say hi to Alper. It was fun x) He thought it was random, but he smiled and I so love it when he smiles ^^
And then he walked past the gym, where I was just laying against the wall, talking with Miranda, and he started a random conversation with me =) He was really tired and dizzy form the workout, and his eyes were kinda blurry or something, so he had to look behind me to actually see me and he sounded so sweet when he excused himself for not being looking at me while we talked... He said he had to look behind me to actually see me ^^ (oh, gosh, I sound like a fangirl)
But then I came home and I had to study for the PSATs, and that sucks u.u And it made me become homesick.... Because everything used to be so easy, when I was in the place where I belong, and were everyone knows me, and when I understand everything...
Wednesday, 17th
In the morning I took the PSATs (which took the first 4 hours of the day) , and then I had Art, had lunch with Nichole and this friend of hers (it was fun, but they realized I was homesick... They tried to cheer me up and it kinda worked).
I went to say hi to Alper again, and then he met me by coincidence outside the gym, when I went to make some copies and he was so sweeeeet! He didn't say much, but he was sweet! He said something like "Hey, Sofie, don't worry. Being a manager is gonna be fun. I promise you!" Awww
Thursday, 18th
Nat, this guy in my US History class, randomly appeared everywhere I went, just smiling, and then disappeared x) It was so random. And he is very nice =) We always talk in the mornings because I'm going to school like 20 minutes before the bell rings now x)
I had lunch with Nichole and it was so fun! We had like $1.5 in change to have lunch x) So we bought a package of Cheetos and two small packages of Oreos x) It was fun.
And while we were at Pack-A-Sack we met Nathan and Zach, and they said they missed me having lunch with them =) They were so cool.
Oh, and there is this girl in my 2nd hour class, Destiny, whose Sweet Sixteen Party is in 3 weeks and we're all invited! =D Ahaha x) I just hope one of my friends is invited as well, because I don't think we have many friends in common... Oh, wait, Haely (I don't know how to spell her name) is her friend, she's going for sure, so I can ask her all the weird questions ;P
I went to say hi to Alper again (I do it every day, now) and asked him what he was doing for Halloween...
Alper: Erg...
Me: Please don't tell me you have to study...
Alper: ... I do...
Me: You're kidding me, right? Study on Halloween?!
Alper: I'm really sorry... But my dad is making me study every day... he even moved my mid-terms around so that I could study in Halloween's week...
Me mutters: Dang it...
Alper: I'm sorry...
Friday, 19th
I had lunch with Nathan, Zach, Jason and Casie, at it was really fun. They said I don't have to wait for them to invite me, that I'm always invited to have lunch with them. I just have to meet them by the trees, where they meet every day. And we went to Nathan's house. I found out he loves photography and that he has a camera as old as the one I used in my last month in Portugal x) It was so weird! And he is reading Deathly Hallows =)
I couldn't talk with Alper before practice, because he was somewhere else when I walked in, but then the girls had to lift weights, so I had to go back to the weight room, and Miranda went with me, and he was there! =D So we sat there for the whole hour just watching him workout and talking like fangirls x)
And she said he was showing off for me, because he checked if I was there like every five minutes (I didn't notice, she did), and then he would put a bit more weight on whatever he was lifting. And he smiled to me more than once! =D
During the after school practice, I talked with this girl called Rosalinda. She's really cool and, because she is hurt, she can't practice, so she sat there with me during practice. And for the first time I joined the Demonettes in their Demonette scream ^^ It was fun! =D Go Demonettes!
Then Coach Lawrence brought me home and picked me up 45 minutes later for the Meet the Deamons and Demonettes dinner. It was fun because I got to meet the team, and to start making friends with the girls I'll have to spend a lot of time with for the rest of the year. They were all really nice, and I had a good time. And Coach Griffin made me stand up as a part of the team, and she thanked me for my work as a manager. She was really nice, but I just wanted a place to hide, because I was the only manager there, so I was the only person standing up in a full room ^^;
And now the weekend has begun, it's already 3 p.m. and I haven't even started my homework/study x) And I have to do my Halloween costume this weekend. And I don't know if I'm hanging out with Krystal and Nichole tonight. And tomorrow I have to be in school at 3:15 p.m. for the Demonettes team photo ^^
