*dusts off blog* Hey? What's this thing?
So, öh, yeah. Sitrep: I didn't get into the prop making programme in Skellefteå, so I'm still in Karlstad. I'm currently taking English I and a course called the Theory and Practice of Animation, and I've just finished one called Crafts & Design, so yeah, doin' good, after all. I'm still applying to the prop making thing again next year, but I'm also looking at directing and script writing. Don't want to "waste" all my grants and loans on just random courses, jao.
In other news, Top Gear is still ruling my world, and me, Marie, Emilia, and Emilia's boyfriend are tearing off to Oslo to see Top Gear Live in March next year. :D 'Twill be awesome, 'twill.
Speaking of school, friends, and Top Gear: it's taken me almost a year, but AT LAST I've found some cool* people to talk to! Didn't realise there was a li'l nerd herd in my English class until one of them said she agreed with all of the pins on my bag. XD It's great to once again have people with whom I can spend the lunch hours discussing One Piece, Lovecraft, Pratchett, role playing, Top Gear, and other bits of nerdery. :3
Oh, and did I mention the racing team? The uni has a formula student racing team, and I've gone and made myself a part of it. Not wholly, since it's actually intended for students of various engineering programmes**, and I'm useless when it comes to technical thingamajiggery, but by golly, our car's gonna be the best looking student racer ever! At least that's what I'm aiming for. *wannabe designer*
