By the time I made this. the sleeves had been finished, and ready for the ruffle to be attached. I liked the look of the lace, so it's finished that way instead of a normal hem(artistic liberty..!). I also cut holes for the ribbon to thread through. I used red bias tape that I bought earlier in the project as ribbon. It looks pretty nice, the color is right, and I actually used something left over rather than buying more ribbon (or making my own). no pic of detail this time, sorry :(
The fox boa was pretty straightforward. I used the pattern I had made forever ago; snip snip, sew, it's done. My machine screamed, but it's done. You can't tell, but I added ears. I did not use the eyes and nose yet, because the ears were lopsided. I'm going to work on this a bit more; but it's wearable.
I've been playing with the idea of trimming the fur a bit, and make it into a fox plush head. Also adding pockets along the inside of it for carrying purposes. It was a pain carrying a purse during the cosplay contest. I made this really simple fox boa about an hour before I left..
