Movie recs and other random bits of life
My dad said he couldn't believe I haven't seen 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' or 'House of Flying Daggers' before, so I got them out. They were both excellent and beautiful and I loved Ziyi Zhang and the other actors. Though you probably wouldn't watch them if you wanted cheering up. I loved the martial arts, and I probably prefer 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' slightly more then HoFD.
One of my favourite cousins came up to visit today and we were looking at her major work for Extension 2 Enlish (which is wonderful, but a looot of work). I'm am considering doing Extension 2 but I'm not sure if I'm up to it. She did an anthology of poetry rather than a short story, and did very well, though I don't think her teachers liked it as much as the markers did.
It's confusing thinking about what I'd like to do for a career. :)
and in a few weeks I start my allergy needles, which will be fun. at least it will help fix my allergies, though.
