Minor, optional PokéPlot time, for any of those Hero-types?

So if you're familiar with the Pokémon games, you'll know Team Rocket, and you'll vaguely remember Silph Co. Don't worry if you don't know them, you don't need to know a whole lot for what's going down here. Your characters wouldn't anyway, so everything I tell you here should be all that is really relevant.

Team Rocket is an organization of Diet Evil villains. They want to take over the world with Pokémon, or something, and they have influence and factions just about everywhere, but people are usually pretty oblivious to them. Like I said, Diet Evil villain. They usually tend to bumble around doing useless things (Shayera, Dante and Clark were an example of that last week) but they do have an influence on the world, as they tend to take over buildings, bomb lakes, steal stuff, etc.

Silph Co. is a company that makes technology stuff for the Pokémon world; pokéballs, for example. In the first Gen. games of Pokémon, the Rockets took over and held the building hostage in the most ridiculously peaceful takeover ever, and you, the player, just walk right in kicking grunt butts in Pokémon battles until you defeat the leader on the top floor. Hurrah, peace is restored!

You get the picture, though.

A certain pair have taken over the Rockets using their own brains and personal strength, Pokémon be damned. They spent Sunday and Monday researching this world and how it works [link], spent today taking control of Team Rocket [link], and as of tomorrow, Wednesday, they are orchestrating a Silph Co. takeover. Hey, the world's only here for a week, might as well have a bit of fun, right?

So in Saffron city, east of Celadon city (where the Hotel is), Silph Co. is being held hostage. Here's an idea of the floorplan, except Rocket grunts are everywhere. There'll be trapped Silph Co. workers scattered in there too.

Anyone who manages to get wind of this is welcome to run over to the next town and help stop Team Rocket. The cities are only an hour or two apart, I'd guess, so it's doable for anyone who wants to go.

Once entering the building they can stop the Rockets by challenging them to Pokémon battles. The world DOES have a police force that'll be taking care of the takeover, in general, it's just up to castle residents to lend a hand. I promise it's an awesome way to level up and it'll satisfy anyone who wants to live up to the Shounen Hero thing. And you can bond with your Pokémon! Create memorable experiences! "Hey, remember that time you were given to me by a castle, and together we helped liberate Silph Co.? Yeaaaaah, good times, good times."

Grunts have zubats and rattatas and lame things like that, so they're not particularly difficult foes. They just have a LOT of them.

Your Princess and Prime, on the other hand, will be watching from elsewhere for the lulz. Hey, talking/muscling/convincing mob bosses into going for the gold and taking over Silph co.? That's prime entertainment, right there. And no, they're not going to be obvious or noticeably involved in the whole deal. Can't blame them, ha ha.
