I leveled up
And got a rather fantastic set of Pokemon references in the midst of my "happy birthday I don't normally associate with you at all" Facebook posts. The best part, of course, was seeing how many people used my legal name [which I'm FB registered under] instead of, like, my name name.
Joe and a bunch of robolab people, along with my food co-op and some assorted friends, surprise kidnapped me on Tuesday night and took me out to Cabot's, which was fun [nobody has ever done that for me before]. Today we went to Sunset after we got off work [I had planned this one], although most of the group bailed because we were effing tired after doing field ops from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Also, I have a set of fantastic sunburns on the tops of my knees from driving the support boat in shorts. I rarely get sunburns [this brings me to somewhere around 3 times ever], so it's been an interesting experience - my skin feels warmer than usual, it's slightly sore, and it feels sort of crinkly. Weird.
