Working in the Robolab, Day 2
I know why Olin has no trees. It's because the Robolab cut them all down. [otherwise known as "We spent 2 1/2 hours chopping away brush in Parcel B to clear the test track so that our Rhino won't run into any tree bits and bust up some $10,000 sensor."]
Apparently my job is to be a systems engineer [redesign the boat's sensor tower, help Joe modify the boat's trailer hitch, make physical things work dammit, etc.], which will be interesting. I suppose it works - Andy and Helen are definitely playing code monkey, Bryce and Amy are doing wicked mechanical design, so Izzy and I get to play the systems game and work on integrating our actual physical systems.
