HAPPY BIRTHDAY~!
I know this community might be dead but I met my soeur here and so have an emotional attachment to this place. The very first place I began; as a sister, as a friend, as a person and as an individual. This place and its people have taught me so much and I find myself coming back to reminisce and ground myself when real life gets a little too much to handle.
So here I am coming back to this spot to wish my little sister a Happy Birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rosa Lilium En Bouton. So much I want to wish for you. Too much. But sometimes wishes are not enough. Sometimes you must be reminded of why you mean so much to the person wishing you.
I want to wish you so much because you protect me. You protect the goodness in me. And your kindness falls like rain.
It is true when they say that distance makes the heart grow fonder but I find myself being surprised at every turn of my life. We are not related and yet I can't help but notice the many things I do, I do it because I want to live up to my role as an elder sister. In my mind before, when I met you, I used to need and crave the normalcy the perimeters and barriers set by the characters and though now we have outgrown the system and the need for the system yet many times in my life I turn to my role as Grande Soeur or as a Rose and I find myself growing as a person and being better for it. It grounds me in a way that nothing else can. And you make it possible. So thank you.
Thank you for existing in my life and giving me the chance to be a better person by your unconditional love and support. My unconditional love goes out to you and I want to wish you the very best. You have blessed me by sharing your life with me and I am honoured to have you in my life. You have been an exceptional friend and I want to wish so much for you in life. While we have not been in contact as often, I think we both agree we have grown fonder of each other and we have thought about each other more often than not. You have allowed me my space and not demanded attention when I couldn't give it to you and I hope I have afforded you the same respect.
May you be blessed abundantly with much love and good cheer. And may you continue to weave brightly coloured threads into the tapestry of your life creating beautiful memories that will carry you on life's journey.
