Yep, *that* legacy would explain why John had to spend several hours with his lawyer and his executor. *That* must have been an interesting conversation. :)

Still, John's quite right - Sherlock would appreciate that, and I expect John *would* wind up on the mantelpiece.

The locked room murder-murder would definitely put even this conversation on hold. :)

I wonder if Gregson believes what he heard. If so, God knows what the Yard is going to be like once this gets around....
