Really lovely. I love the progression of their relationship and how it develops, and the simple, easy love and companionship they share.
The bit where Ianto got hurt because of Jack was just gorgeous.
I'd love to see this story expanded more, if you ever got the temptation

What a great ending. I love how you had Ianto point out that Gwen only sees the hero in Jack not the person - I've always thought that.

The part with the Night Travellers was awesome, it was great to see Ianto working with the team to see it through even though he was terrified. Jack and Ianto adopting Daniel and creating their family a trio of broken people who’d lost their own families, pulling together to make the best of their lives as you put it (loved this description) was the perfect way to end this fic. Lovely.

I vote for 4 because the title is awesome - don't change it (But they all sound great)

I'd always planned on ending with the Night Travellers ep, and an adoption of the surviving boy seemed the perfect way to round things off. In a way, Ianto's giving back what he got, isn't he?
