OH my, The way you described what the master did to Jack and the others... I am sickened and so saddened for JAck. but I do like that he seems to accept Ianto now.
That was so very disturbing, on so many levels...but at the same time, it was nice that Jack wasn't alone, even if Ianto couldn't do much of anything because of all the metal.
And then end...the Doctor's reaction when Ianto walked up, and his confusion at Jack's response, and then the end when it's obvious just what Ianto is. Loved it!
Well, in lieu of the "Face of Boe" thing, I did want to have the Doctor gaping at something!
Okay, that's a shallow reason. It was just lucky it played out that way; I actually wanted to show how Jack's grown dependant on Ianto, to the point where he'd turn away from the only real help he might have gotten. It was really fun playing with those different layers, as has been the case throughout the fic.
