Oh, no. This isn't how it is supposed to go. And you leave it there? My mind is racing in my head in panicked, little circles. This chapter really leaves you reeling with all the anxiety with Flat Holm, the rings, and the return of John plus one. I thought Ianto's reasoning and explanation about Gwen and Flat Holm was well done. What can you do, really? Gwen either gets it or she doesn't -- Jack cannot be made to feel responsible or guilty for the things he cannot control. However, sharing some of the burdens (with the team) he has had to shoulder alone will go a long way in alleviating some of the grief and responsibility. The "ring ceremony" was perfect -- so them. I knew that object mentioned in the prologue had some important meaning. Now, I wonder if it not only affects their mental capabilities, but also their healing abilities as well? One can only hope; otherwise, things look pretty dire. I am really enjoying the twists in the story that changes the fate of some of the characters, i.e., Tosh, Owen, Ianto. I am ( ... )
