Taken Characters Changes

The staff has changed the format for the Taken Characters page, so that it is set up as comments and sub-threads for each fandom. We feel this will be much more organized, especially given the rapid rate of new characters joining the game. Also this will allow for editing of a character's information once faction changes come into play.

Unfortunately, this change required us to wipe out the existing Taken list. While we would have gladly put in the existing characters ourselves, the players would then not have been able to edit or delete (for drops) themselves, which negates the usefulness of this format.

We'd like to ask all existing characters to be re-checked in to the Taken post under their appropriate series, and very sincerely apologize for inconvenience this causes.

Activity Check

The first (mock) Activity Check is now closed, and we'd like to thank you for participating in it! It looks excellent and will be a helpful guide for new players in the coming months. We would like to get the player's feedback on it. Any concerns about the requirements? (Remember that a real Activity Check will have a full month's worth of range, not just the half of December.) Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Application Voting

Two things to note about Applications. First, we're not seeing the wide range of peer voting which we'd hoped to take advantage of. The game represents nearly 40 players, so the peer voting should be much more diverse than seems to be happening. Remember that voting on applications is part of the game requirements. Even a couple votes a month is easy, right?

Secondly, we've added a small section to the bottom of the Applications page to reflect still-pending applications accessible through quick links. We hope this will make finding apps that still need voting upon easier to find and encourage more timely votes to be cast. (After all, who wants to scroll through 400+ comments?)

Thank you for your cooperation with this.
