(no subject)
I haven't updated at all, recently, so I think I'd want to make a short update on the lj.
Erm, bad economy, and all, but right now, I'm thankful I've still got my job. ^^
Hitachi's been laying off people to cut costs, and the RMA team in US has been laid off, and the work brought over to Asia Pacific (ie us). So, while some people in my team's more badly affected, I'm only taking back 2 accounts to make mine a global account. And those badly-affected have to pass some accounts over.
So in effect, I got two accounts from the US, and all the Korea accounts, and I'm still holding my JP accounts. But it's not because of that that I've been working late recently.
Senpais from my team have sent out notification mails to the customers, so now that I'm handling customers directly, I'm getting mails in Japanese, and it takes me a heck of a damn long time to type out replies. =___=; Because I have to start constructing sentences in English in the "Japanese" way, and either a) write those lines down, or b) translate those lines to Japanese. And with my bad grammar, it just makes it worse. D:
But yeah, with the Korea accounts coming in, I am most probably going to get more work, but hey. That's to be expected, and I can't help it, but at least I've still got my job, and am going to try to do my best!
Also, I got a new phone: iPhone. I have a strange suspicion that Singtel's been pushing out iPhones to their contracts because they're trying to get a bigger share of the market - cancelling the line has a penalty of a thousand dollars, I think. Anyhow, I got the iPhone, because Dad wanted to use his $500 voucher. And, now have some apps for it. Dad's iPhone, though, refuses to talk to his Outlook - I don't know how the hell am I going to solve that. D: Anyone with apps to recommend, please comment! >.<
AND LASTLY, I am so glad I let chiiyo talk me into buying the obi, mentioned in the last post. It got in today, together with aoi_no_ue's, and THEY ARE SO PRETTY~ <3 I'm waiting for Nadiah to take out hers so I can see. ^^
BUT I REALLY REALLY LOVE THE GREEN BUTTERFLY FUKURO, AND I REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE THE WHITE MAPLE NAGOYA. *SUPER HAPPY MOOD*
