The update is that I passed the placement test today. I'd met my sensei outside the testing room after the test, and she asked if I had finished the whole paper, and I said yes. She said she'd go look at the paper now, and then call me when she was done marking it. She'd finished marking it that afternoon, and called me to tell me I'd passed the placement test. So sweet of her! She's technically not my sensei, because I haven't gotten any of her classes yet, but she'd known me since my first Japanese class in the first year, so... Hm. XD Uh, yeah. Halfway through the paper, I was totally thinking of throwing down the pen, and walking out, but yeah. My kanji was a total mess, the grammar wasn't fantastic, and MY ESSAY, OMG, MY ESSAY. WTH WAS I TALKING ABOUT? O_O.
