BERRYZ KOUBOU
PIMP POST
NANCHUU KOI WO YATTERUU
YOU KNOW?
(from the left: Tokunaga Chinami, Kumai Yurina, Tsugunaga Momoko, Sugaya Risako, Natsuyaki Miyabi, Shimizu Saki, Sudou Maasa)
I love Berryz Koubou. They deserve more love and they are all several years younger than I am D:. There used to be eight members until Ishimura Maiha graduated and left the group to focus on school (she was kinda decorative imo anyway). They have catchy songs, good vocals, weird personalities, pretty nice concerts and talent. They are the #1 female idol group in Hello! Project, after Morning Musume, but they're steadily gaining popularity and experience. Give them a few years, and their singles will consistently be top in the charts, so you definitely want to check them out.
Notes
Btw, the hosting site is Megaupload. I will not be uploading these files onto another filehost, so if MU doesn't work for you, I can't help you. It takes forever to upload all the files once already, and on top of that, they're all high-quality and huge. Also, I will not be uploading the Making of videos. I'm too lazy to rip and upload them. Besides, you have the dance shots and/or close-up versions.
All singles are 320 kbps, except for Waracchaou yo Boyfriend, and all PVs are hq, vob-rips (about 300mb each), except for all of the Munasawagi Scarlet and Waracchaou yo Boyfriend PVs. Also, for the albums, I'll only talk about the tracks that haven't been released as singles obviously.

SINGLES AND PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS
Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai
Okay, honestly, I didn't know which part to cap from the PV, but it rocks. I was torn between xcoar!Maasa, Yurina and Chinami and Miyabi's 'ah', so I went for a group shot y/y? This song is an amazing first single with a hip-hop feel, and though their voices could use a little improvement at some parts, overall it's really good anyway. The PV is especially good, because Miyabi's 'ah!' and the dance make up for their costumes. So download it. I love it, and it's one of their best singles. The b-side 'BERRY FIELDS' is a good contrast, it's pretty energetic and typical pop, but the refrain is worth noting <3.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version FIGHTING POSE wa Date Janai!
I don't like this single; it disappointed me. 'Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai' was such a great single, and then came 'FIGHTING POSE'. Idek. It's like 'hay we're actually still a girl idol group, let's go stupid!'. But then again, the song can grow on you too, like fungus, since it's pretty funny. The best part in the PV is obviously their fighting poses. Did I mention that they all look very pretty in this PV? Yeah, that's nice too. The b-side 'Natsu Wakame' is so much better than 'FIGHTING POSE'; it's pretty mellow.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Poolside Dance! Dance! Dance! Version Piriri to Yukou
Okay, frickin catchy song. Originally, I didn't like it, and I can't lie and say I love it either. But they got me with the WOWOWOWOW/YAYAYAYAYAY part. If you're in a happy mood, this is a good song. Otherwise, I wouldn't really advise listening to it, as it'd be pretty annoying. But the PV is pretty lolololololol, just like the song is yayayayayay. I capped Maasa singing about showaa happii or something, which is hilarious (srsly wtf is Yurina doing in the background). 'Kaccho ee' is a song that Berryz perform a lot at their lives, and I like it better live.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Close-up Version Happiness ~Koufuku Kangei~
I love this song. It was the first single that I really noticed, so it has a special place. The PV is shiny pretty, because they all are vry pretty, eat Chinese food and dance like it's no one's business. Well not so much the dancing part, but this is still vry shiny. I actually like Maiha in this pv/song. Also, the b-side 'Yuujou Junjou Oh Seishun' is a nice song to rock out to. It's pretty wild and amazing, k!! Kinda like the Morning Musume Otome Gumi 'Yuujou' song. In short, this single is so worth it, omg.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Close-up Version Koi no Jubaku
This song is the first single that went into the techno area. But not techno, like house or anything, just techno in the sense of it's kinda computer music. Anyway, the song is okay. Like 'Koi no Jubaku' means love's spell, and you can tell that they picked up that idea for the dance. It looks like they're casting a spell at the end of the chorus, which is pretty tricky, amirite? Yea I'm rite. The PV is kinda emo, but there is hardcoar!Yurina <3. The smile version is cute, since it's just them lip-synching in front of a camera, and they look like they're having fun! The b-side 'Passion E-CHA E-CHA' doesn't suck either, but it's an acquired taste, yeah. But if you don't like this kinda of pop, it's understandable.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Smile Version Special Generation
If there is one single that should be listened to from their early days, it's 'Special Generation'. It is the single with the highest Oricon charts ranking ( it was #7), and has sold the most copies for Berryz (though personally I think Munasawagi Scarlet has sold more by now, but what do I know?). This single is amazing. First of all, 'Special Generation' owns, a lot of that because of Miyabi's singing skillz, and the b-side 'Koishiteru toki wa itsumo...' is the best b-side ever. Yes, I said ever. At the same time, the lyrics are thoughtful and I love this ballad, omg. Download, download, download ppl!!! Both of the PVs are vry vry shiny too!! The dance pwns faces ok!
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version Nanchuu Koi wo Yatteruu YOU KNOW
Again, a techno-ish single. But I really like this song anyway, despite the para para dance. Dude, wtf. Still I'm impressed that H!P dared to use para para moves, so respect. The performances of this song are amazing though, especially Yurina stands out. You may have noticed by now that I'm slightly biased? The PV is okay. Like just okay. I don't like the outfits or the idea with the cellphones, honestly. But I like the song, so that redeems the PV lots. The b-side 'Yume de Douappu' is very chill, like kinda old-school. It has good harmonizing though?~ It's okay, honestly. Better live, but quite honestly, it's a Momoko song.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version 21ji Made no Cinderella
I think this song wins officially as the catchiest ever. Yoroshiku~ Shinder-rera-rabu~ Okay, you get the point. It sold rly well too, and it was Maiha's last single. But it sold well, because it's a cute song. Kinda on genre-crack, like H!P gets, but it's still kinda old-school. So for sparkly fun, this is the song! The PV is just kinda wtf. The outfits are rly gay, sorry. But the b-side 'Himitsu no U.ta.hi.me' is also kinda nice. I think I need more time to like it, but the chorus and opening are the best parts. Mellow, yes.
Download SinglePV - Regular Version - Repost, baby.
PV - Dance Shot Version Gag 100kaibun Aishite Kudasai
I've been hesitant to classify any songs as 'bad' up until now, because I like most of their singles, but 'Gag 100kaibun Aishite Kudasai' is bad. It makes me want to gag sometimes - okay bad joke I know. It was the opening for some anime or whatever, but the point is that it sucks. I guess the refrain is catchy, if you like annoying. The b-side 'Nigiyaka na fuyu' features ex-Morning Musume member Yaguchi Mari, but that song isn't worth it either. I'm surprised people actually paid money for it, because there are three versions of the PV (yeah even Tsunku knew this song sucked lots and needed help), but Mari always helps the H!P kids sell more (just look at ZYX).
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Close-up VersionPV - Dance Shot Version Jiriri Kiteru
Classical music meets techno. Sound fun yet? This song made me like Berryz even more. I'm a sucker for classical music in modern music, so I like died. The song reminds of 'Kakumei' from DDR, just there's singing as well and it's not just a techno adaption of classical. I love this song, the dance and the PV. Everything about this song is good, but the b-side is kinda blah. Nothing really special. Maybe I just love 'Jiriri Kiteru' too much, I don't know. Anyway, checkkkkk it out. I highly recommend it, especially the dance shot of the PV.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version Waracchaou yo Boyfriend
Okay, old-school to the max. This embodies old-school and of the lead vocals, I'd say that this is definitely the Yurina single. Good vocals throughout the entire song, and nice outfits in the PV actually. The only problem I have with the PV is that computer-animated makes the PV look cheap, even I can live with that. Download the song, omg omg!! The b-side 'Tosho Shitsu Taiki' is devoted only to sugar and crack, btw, and defies logic!
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version Munasawagi Scarlet
Okay, finally at 'Munasawagi Scarlet'! I love this song sooooo much. It is the best Berryz single, hands down. You can really hear how their voices have matured (especially Miyabi and Chinami, wth <3) and it sounds so amazing, omg. Any song with a Tsunku beatbox and freakin guitars is amazing. I rock out to this song, I have it as a ringtone and it generally pwns my face! So you should download it too and rejoice! The b-side 'Aitai kedo' is nothing special, sadly. But the shiny PV makes up for it, and the dance is pretty sweet <3. Especially the lesbian-groping moment. Oh Miyabi, i like it when you grope your own head.
Download SinglePV - Regular VersionPV - Dance Shot Version ALBUMS AND MINI-ALBUMS
1st Chou Berryz
I really like this cd. Not looking at the tracks on here that have been released as singles, it's still a great album. My favorites are 'Semi, 'Anshinkan' (a song that Yurina sings solo live sometimes) and 'Nicchoku -Geinoujin no Kaiwa', which sounds a lot like a W-esque song. 'Semi' is a great acoustic song, and they all carry the song well. 'Anshinkan' kinda pwns me a lot, because it reminds me of so many beloved old songs.
Download Album Dai ni Seichouki
Honestly, the singles make this album good. The non-single tracks suck. Really, they do. Compared to 1st Chou Berryz, this album is pretty disappointing, but the only track I can recommend is 'Sabori'. It at least has something to it. All other songs are pretty flat, especially 'Aisuru Hito no Namae wo Nikki ni'. It's kinda funny that my favorite non-single track is actually 'Special END', which is the outro and not even really a song D:.
Download Album Special Best Mini -2.5 maime no kare-
All tracks on this mini-album are actually singles, except for track 2, which is 'Arigatou! Tomodachi'. It's an upbeat song, but pretty much just a space filler, though they all sound nice.
Download Album 3 Natsu Natsu Mini Berryz
This mini-album is a must download. You must have this. The best song on it is 'Natsu Remember You', which is nostalgic and beautiful. Yes, I will actually say it's a beautiful song. 'Maji Natsu Sugiru' is a light, upbeat song, with an old-school feel (especially the beginning and the chorus). Also worth noting is Risako's solo 'Yeah! Meccha Holiday', which is pretty amazing for a 12-year-old. And she's the only member that has gotten a solo recorded. The other tracks are pretty much on crack, but good as well.
Download Album wtf, thank you for cracking my code, lj >O.
