EDIT: Poll stuff is redacted due to painful levels of fail.
A bit more seriously, we have a few very active players (thank you, you awesome stars) but a lot of the rest of us (this mod included) are replying pretty slowly right now. As, once more, someone who is at least as bad as the people she is lecturing, I humbly ask: let's all resolve to post more quickly, us slow replyers? You don't need to spend all evening on the site, but trying to reply on the same day, even a short reply, is way better for the game than putting it off for a day. Speaking from experience, I know how quickly 'one day' becomes two, and then three...I've done it. We all have from time to time. Also, reminder mod works hard, but she's not infallible. She's a human, with important IRL stuff and things to do. She works hard to keep the game flowing by reminding us when we forget, but tracking every single thread in the game, and logging when every single character posts in each one is a massive job. I am very, very relieved that I don't have to be reminder mod, and I am in awe of the job she does. But my point is here, occasionally your thread might slip through and you won't be reminded. Not because we don't care, but because we're human and we all make mistakes. Dead threads aren't fun, so bookmarking your active threads, and quickly clicking through them if you have five spare minutes isn't a bad idea at all. Often I write replies, get distracted before posting them, and then walk around thinking that everything's cool and I've dealt with that thread, until the player in question messages me and says: hey, where did you go?
We all know our characters pretty well, I know that because I've read all the apps. So your gut reaction is probably your right one. Just go for it! You're not going to get told off for short replies unless it gets really silly.
