New Job Blues
Hey, gang!
I started a new and potentially lovely (and probably relatively short-term) job this week. Training involves lots of outdoor work, in what, coincidentally, is the hottest week of the summer--the heat index was 105 today, and is predicted to reach 116 by Friday. The end result is that by the time I get home, all my body and brain are capable of is knitting and drinking Gatorade, and not writing pithy posts for Our Game.
I start working the night shift, when things are cooler and calmer, next week, so I expect my posting frequency to return to normal by then at the latest, but in the meantime, please don't ask too much of SJ or Joan, or expect your posts to be replied to. I may make it, but it's at least as likely I'll be suffering from so much heat-related brain damage that all I can do is go, "Isabella? Allan? Gaaaaahhhhhhh......"
