NPC's up for grabs

I couldn't get the NPC Directory to let me add anybody, and besides, it's pretty buried right now, so I wanted to put this up here so people could see it.

I've created a couple of new NPCs in my posts in recent weeks that people are welcome to have at.

1. The carpenter building the timber church in Teversal. So far, he doesn't have a name. Sir James hired him at the Nottingham fair. SJ told Nico (and maybe somebody else; I can't remember) that he's a young journeyman, just out of his apprenticeship, who's taking on the job for not much more pay than bed and board because it's his first major job of his own and he's willing to take a cut in pay because having his name attached to the project will help advance his career. SJ says he comes with good references from his old master. SJ found him in the hiring booth at the fair, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's from Nottingham town itself, though that's likely. That's really about all I've written about him, but the timber church is progressing nicely, and, according to SJ's latest journal entry, it met with the approval of the religious order that's going to take it over, so I think we can presume the guy's a decent carpenter. Maybe Will knows him? He's very sketchy at this point and I don't have any real plans for him, so he's yours to play with however you want.

2. Father Adam, the new priest for Teversal. If you read SJ's latest journal entry, you'll see Father Adam hasn't officially set up shop yet--the church isn't scheduled to be in commission until November 25th, though Father Adam is moving to the area shortly so he can start meeting people and that kind of thing. He's a former lay brother who managed a couple of farms owned by the Augustinian Canons in Derbyshire until relatively recently. Then, last winter, he got sick and moved into the order's main house to recover, and utilized the house library to read his way f into a new job. He's about 35 or 40 years old, grew up the son of a prosperous Derbyshire peasant, and knows his way around farms and villages, but he's new to the priesthood, and new to Nottinghamshire. He's intelligent and decent and eager. . I've got some ideas for him, but, frankly, one of them is that he butts heads with SJ sometimes, and I think it would be much more interesting for somebody to take him on as a full character than it would be for me to write dialogue for both of them at the same time.

Everybody's welcome to these guys. I'd like to know in advance if you mention them, or if you want to take them on as full characters, but that's mainly so I can keep my storylines straight, not because I have any desire to limit you.
