Announcing a Council of Nobles
This is a planning post of sorts. Its purpose is to distill the planning that's already been done and to let everyone know the result.
Vaizey is calling a Council of Nobles. I wanted to announce it to the general comm in case other people (other than who I have already discussed with) might want to participate as NPCs.
The council will be held on the 10th game-time. That will be a Sunday because Vaizey doesn't care about God and scandalized Catholics will be funny. Also that will allow plenty of time for the characters to find out.
I will start the thread next Wednesday, the 21st, real time, which should give people a couple days to get NPCs together if they want.
I don't want to do much specific planning beyond what we've done already. Let's all keep the main points of the agenda in mind and just go for it. If people want to mingle and discuss after we have covered the necessities that would be cool and you can just plan it with whoever you want to mingle with :)
Let me know soon if there are any problems...like if you'll be on vacation with no internet or something...
Here is the agenda (loosely)
I. Returning crusaders to update on GKR
II. Sir James to notify Vaizey of new status
II. Vaizey to announce a new special tax to recover the stolen ball proceedings.
Players necessary to the meeting as Landowning Nobles:
Sir James, Gisborne, Nico, Marian
Other participants:
Lucatz as steward (organizing refreshments and information gathering)
Isabella as curious onlooker
If anyone wants to take on an NPC for the meeting we could use:
More Landowning Nobility & wealthy merchants (Simeon the Jew from the ball would be an example)
