AAaaah. I'm sitting here shirtless drinking a big honkin can of Arizona Green Tea. (one of those $.99 24 ounce ones). I just got back from shooting a scene for the movie at Saradora's. It was really cool. Afterward some of the crew and I joked around outside in the street and laughed hysterically. It was awesome.
Life is good my friends.
Busy. As Always.
But good.
I'm almost done shooting for this movie. It's a little short film that my friend Ben Hendrix is putting together, and I'm the lead in it. At first I didn't know anyone, so it was kind of weird, but now it's really ended up being fun because several of the crew members are really cool. Tonight I cracked them up with a bunch of masterbation jokes. It was awesome. I crouched over and acted like an old woman and screeched in this old woman voice, "MASTERBATION MAKES YOU GO BLIND! Little sinners who masterbate waste all of their seed!! What will you do when you don't have any dude juice left for the wife!? What then little devil child!?" And many other things of that nature.
Let's see, I don't update often, so let me give you all a general idea of what's gowin awn with me.
Well, I'm finishing up filming this short movie now. It's called Just Like That. I'll miss some of the production staff. There are an actress or two who I'll be glad to be free of, but the rest of them I'll miss.
I've been in rehearsal for Charley's Aunt for a while, and preview is tonight. I'm so ready for an audience, cause I have no idea if a lot of the bits are funny or not anymore. The real part I enjoy about the show the most is that the entire cast are friends, and so hanging out backstage is often more fun than being on stage.
I'm going to be a part of Summerstock Austin this coming July!! I'm so psyched about it! We're doing Much Ado About Nothing and Footloose. We had a company meeting like a week and a half ago, and it was incredibly cool. We acted, we danced, we sung. Everyone there can do all three, but everyone seemed to have a particular strenth in one or the other. My strength was the acting, and I felt alright about the singing, but I felt reeeeaaallly really weak on the dancing. MAN some of those boys there can dance. So, for the next month or so, (Summerstock starts July 9th) I'm going to be stretchind like everyday, and dancing as much as I can. I'm going to be starting dance lessons here pretty soon, and Carolanne promised to practice with me and help me learn. Matt and I are also going to start getting together to practice singing pretty regularly. And I'm thinking about trying to put back together the Shakespeare cold reading group pretty soon. I'm really looking forward to Subberstock.
I'm working out pretty regularly. I know what I'm doing, and my workouts yeild great results. It was a booster today when I took off my shirt at the shoot (we were standing in the street, and we were considering going streaking), and one of the guys points at my chest and says, "How long did it take you to get those." About 10 minutes later, of course, another person whipped out a pen and drew a face on my torso. But anyway, I've been loading up on the protien shakes lately, and I seem to have encouraged many of my friends to get in shape along with me. Matt, Will, and Robbie have all resolved to get into shape, and Zack jumped back on board the fitness train (he's never been out-of-shape). Matt and I are also going to be working out together on a regular basis along with singing. Will went as far as buying protien shakes, a shaker, weights, and The Body Sculpting Bible for Men, on my recommendation. Typing this paragraph actually inspired me to the point that between writing protien shakes, and lately, I dropped down and did 45 push ups. Hooray for fitness!!!
Well, my next entry will be a MONDO HUGE PICTURE ENTRY. I haven't done a picture entry since March, so this next one will be the biggest ever. That being said, it may take me a couple of days to find time to select them all, resize them, upload them, and then do a journal entry, so don't hold your breath.
Anywho, I'm tired, so I'll talk to you guys laterhosen.
Peace.
