Taipei 2006
Came back from Taipei. Ate a lot and spent a bomb.
Karen, your little twin star set did not launch on time. It was delayed till 13/12/06. I did not manage to get the set for you.
Took some pictures but my camera is getting old. It was always in 'Low batt' mode and I had to rely on my friends' cameras to capture the unforgettable memories.

lst night -Xi men (ate some good food) 2nd day- Super lousy breakfast and other parts of Ximen
2nd Day- Taipei main station and exploration of the shops in the area (Yeah! Found Watsons and bought many cosmetics there!)
Taipei 101, SOGO, Shi Lin (Basically, 2nd Day was a shopping day!)
3rd Day- One Day city tour to places like hot spring, jiu fen, tea musuem and other places of interest (photos in my friends' cameras)
4th day- last minute shopping (Taipei underground station shopping and the rest of Ximen)
5th day morning (Home sweet home)
The food was cheap and good. I love the mushrooms most and hope to taste it in Singapore. I was a bit sad as we had no time to visit places like dan shui, long san si and wu fen pu. There was so much to shop and some of the things were relatively cheap as compared to Singapore. (i.e. A pair of boots was ard $18 and a pair of decent heels was abt $7) I was a bit of a beauty guru as I bought many beauty products back for my relatives, friends and to stock up! In short, I would want to visit this place again!!!
