Mod Thoughts
Hey guys, I've been thinking about something for a while now, and was hoping to gauge some comm opinions on it.
Basically, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some sort of Orphaned Fic post. What I mean is, if you've got some epic (or even not-so-epic) Mike/Kevin WIP on your harddrive somewhere, languishing away in unfinished glory, maybe you could post a summary/clip or something in said Orphaned Fic post, and if someone is interested in finishing it for you, or co-writing it with you, the unfinished fic could be finished and posted with credit given to all writers involved!
I cannot think of an orphaned fic of MINE that I could give up (because I'm pretty sure I've promised to finish them for certain people-- namely, my wild west au, my angel!fic, my Glee!fic... what else? I think that's all!!), but, you know, it could be fun, and a good way to continue our goal of being friendly, getting to know each other, becoming friends, and getting more fic out there!
Any thoughts? Ideas? Think it sucks? Think it rocks? Got any other ideas for what you'd like to see happen in the comm? Wanna rant about how the BINGO FICS STOPPED BEING POSTED?! (I can't say much here, as I haven't posted any of mine-- WAIT, there's one I could offer as an orphan! Mike and Kevin, always!girls, as summer camp counsellors at a camp for ill children! Mike serving out community service, Kevin trying to save the world! Reluctant camp roommates! I don't think I promised that one to anyone.)
