Criminal Minds: Exclave

Over the next few days I'll be posting random Criminal Minds snippets that I've dragged from the depth of my computer. Most are several years old and it's not ever a show I watched with any consistency so be warned. I should probably post them to a community somewhere... is there such a thing as a Criminal Minds fiction community? Maybe I'm too ( Read more... )

I was just going to whine and snivel about it not being Spiral when I saw the several years thing. Now I'll just pout.

I tried to get into Criminal Minds, my mother likes it, but despite the fact that Reid is kind of adorkable and Morgan is hot, I just never could.

I have this folder on my computer titled "fanfiction." Just one. But it's full of all sorts of odd crap and scraps that I've rattled out over the years whenever my "real life" muse has gone silent (at least that's what I call it). The folder sits on my desktop screen right in the corner. It's a playground I don't allow myself to indulge in too often, or too intensively. I need it to stay a playground. Thus my often long absences. But it's always fun to click on it, and remember where I am on certain stories (those posted as wips and otherwise) and remember all the other random stuff I have in there ( ... )

LOL! I have one of those folders, but mine has subfolders. *sigh* I always promise I'm not going to start something new until I finish at least three WIPs. I'm a totally liar. But at least I've learned not to post WIPs, that keeps me from getting stalkers that whine whenever I do something else. *g*

Too much exposition handled too clunkily for me on that show. They're always explaining technical terms that the whole team should know to each other. I'm pretty sure my mother was getting ready to gag me by the time we were done watching season two.

You go right ahead and do that. I'm sure the neighbors will think all the crying and whining is coming from the five month old and think nothing of it.

Oh, gayeld, I've forgiven shows I've liked less so much more than clunky exposition... :)

LOL! And that might be it right there, for some reason I just never really liked the show.
