This school feels smaller by the day. Not that it's a bad thing, but I've definitely settled into the routine of seeing pretty much the same people between classes.
I ended up going home for Halloween. Although I kind of regret not spending my first college Halloween actually at college, I had a complete blast in Fremont. One of David's friends had a party, and we dressed up as flapper girl and mobster. Really fucking cutee. The next night Josh had a party for David's birthday which was also hella fun. He's finally 18, lol.
Speaking of David... things are going really well, when we get to see eachother. Times get tense when we can't se eachother for a few weeks. I miss him a whole bunch, but we're making the distance work. If I had a car, it'd be 40 minutes, but it's usually a little more than an hour and a half by MUNI and BART. But when we're together... man. It's seriously great. We don't take eachother for granted at all, and everythings so much more sensual/nice all the time. Okay. Really though. When you can't see someone for a couple of weeks, being in their arms feels even better when you can :)

THE ELECTION/OBAMA. Let me tell you how fucking INSANE San Francisco was after it was announced. Firecrackers, fireworks... my entire dorm turned instantly into an Obama party. So loud. We went out to the Castro. Wow, so many people just dancing in the streets. Downtown, from there. MARKET COMPLETELY BLOCKED with people dancing, cheeering. Probably 50 SFPD just standing around knowing full well they really couldn't do anything about it. MUNI couldn't get through, but nobody even gave a shit. And then, after finding out that prop 8 unfortunately passed, there was a march from Downtown to Castro yesterday. I didn't stay for the whole thing, but it was honestly AMAZING how many people turned out. Both post-election and the march are things I'll remember forever.

My life = less fun now. I feel like as soon as I finish taking a big test, I have to gear up for another one. Or another big paper. Or a speech. Or something else. It kind of blows. Anatomy practicals are the most awful thing in the entire world, no fucking lie. I have over 100 muscle locations, actions, and origins/insertions to memorize before tuesday, along with the anatomy of the whole damn nervous system, brain, special senses, and limbic system. What happens is there will be stations set up. At each station, a random model from the things we covered over the past labs. Arrows pointing to structures to identify, or answer questions about. 25 stations... 3 questions per station... two minutes per station and NO GOING BACK. Kellers class was nothing. Nothing!
I'm liking my job with USF Athletics a whole lot. All the people are super chill and it's kinda nice knowing people who live in apartments off campus and stuff. I worked my first mens basketball game last night... USF v. Fresno. Selling tickets. AHH, so many people came it was utterly crazy. We lost, but it was fun anyway.
Bleh well back to studying leg muscles.
