(no subject)
Ok, well, it's been forever since I've updated. So here's a really quick one:
Finals went...umm...let's just say they're done! LOL! Grades aren't in yet, but I'm not expecting too much due to being sick and missing so many classes. The roommate that Pam and I aren't too fond of is moving to her own room on the second floor, so she won't be around to bother us anymore. That makes us very happy to say the least!
The quarter starts on Mar. 27th, next Monday. However, I'll be missing at least a few days of classes due to my tonsillectomy on the 24th...not too excited about that. I'm glad it's going to be getting done, but I'm getting a little nervous now about the whole thing. I just hope it will improve my voice - not hurt it. They told me the surgery itself most likely won't cause any damage to my vocal chords because they don't go very near them, but when they intubate me, it runs the risk of damaging them since they just shove the tube down there. So that's kinda scary.
Right now I'm in Pennsylvania visiting my grandparents and a couple aunts/uncles/cousins. It's our last night here and we fly home tomorrow afternoon, but we went shopping yesterday and I got some really cute stuff - especially this little black dress :). Then I have 2 days until my surgery on Friday. *cries* One of those days will be used going to the Pacific Science Center with Pam and possibly Erich and Andy, and the other will be to bring over our mini-fridge to our dorm room, grab some lounging clothes, and prepare myself for my impending surgery and recovery.
It's also quite frustrating when I can finally be online for a while (I have to use a dial-up connection, so my grandparents can't get phonecalls when I'm online), no one else is online to talk to me! Darn time difference!
So that's about it thus far. Hope everyone's spring breaks are going well (those of you that have it now) and I'll see you all soon!
