everyone that did that little survey thingy said that i didn't update enough and i know that my icon will cheer up a certain someone, so here's an update
a few days back i had my 2nd consecutive xmas without celebrating. for those that may not know, i decided i wasn't going to celebrate xmas because it stood for two things i try to avoid: jesus, and commercialism. i still spent the time with all my family which is always a plus. grama gave me a present and told me that i couldn't refuse it, so i acceted it so that i wouldn't make grama cry. she was upset last year that she didn't get to give me anything. the whole week my sister gave me a hard time for accepting grandma's gift and some cash from my uncle (which i tried to refuse over and over again... which i think i'm going use to buy a gift card to the olive garden to give to him and my aunt) ...so that was my xmas
i've been recording a lot lately and it's been turning out really well. i'm happy with it at least. new CD in maybe 2 months.
i like the holiday break because i get to see people that i don't normally see like jamesy and claire. that always brightens my day.
i thought i was going to get burned out at playing motor city joe's every friday, but it turns out that's the one thing i REALLY look forward to every week. i love performing, but what i really love is seeing all the people i don't see enough. and hugs. there's always LOTS of hugs on friday nights.
i would be perfectly content if school never started back up. i like having so much time for music and books and movies.
